Announcement: Silver Award in the "Japanese Cuisine" Category at the 33rd National Skills Grand Prix

On March 2, 2026, Kaji Taro, President and Head Chef of Japanese Cuisine KAJISUKE, was awarded the Silver Award in the Japanese Cuisine category at the 33rd National Skills Grand Prix.

The "National Skills Grand Prix" is a nationwide skills competition co-organized by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Japan Vocational Ability Development Association (JAVADA), and the National Federation of Certified Skilled Workers Associations.
Participation is strictly limited to top-tier professionals holding national qualifications as "Special Grade, First Grade, or Single Grade Certified Skilled Workers." Master artisans selected from across all prefectures gather to compete for the pinnacle of craftsmanship in Japan.

In the Japanese Cuisine category, competitors are subjected to highly rigorous judging of their advanced techniques and comprehensive abilities as chefs.
This encompasses not only exceptional knife skills and the handling of ingredients, but also flavor composition, the beauty of presentation, hygiene management, and the efficiency of the work process.

We owe this prestigious honor entirely to the continued support of our valued patrons, our dedicated producers, and everyone involved with our establishment. We would like to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude.

At Japanese Cuisine KAJISUKE, our core mission has always been to respect our ingredients, continuously refine our craft, and deliver plates that truly delight our guests.
Encouraged by this award, we will continue to hone our skills and dedicate ourselves further as a Japanese restaurant deeply rooted in our local community.

We humbly ask for your continued patronage and support for Japanese Cuisine KAJISUKE.
